¿Cuántas Ayat contiene Al-Fatiha?

No hay desacuerdo sobre la idea de que Al-Fatiha contiene siete Ayat. De acuerdo con la
mayoría de los recitadores de Al-Kufa, un grupo de los Compañeros, el Tabi `en, y un número de estudiosos de las generaciones sucesivas, la Bismillah es una Ayah separada en sus inicios. Esta cuestión volverá a ser mencionada , si Dios quiere, y en Él confiamos.

¿por qué es llamada Umm Al-Kitab (la madre del Libro)?

En el comienzo del libro de Tafsir, en su Sahih, dijo Al-Bujari, rahimahullah: "Se llama Umm Al-Kitab,porque el Corán comienza con ella y porque la oración se inicia recitarlo.'' También dijo que se llamaba Umm Al-Kitab, ya que contiene el significado de todo el Corán. Ibn Jarir dijo: "Los árabes llaman cada asunto integral que contiene varias áreas específicas de una Umm. Por ejemplo, llaman a la piel que rodea el cerebro, Umm Ar-Ra. También llaman la bandera que recoge las filas del ejército una Umm.'' Él también dijo, "la Meca fue llamada Umm AlQura, (la Madre de los Pueblos), ya que es la ciudad más grande y líder de todos los pueblos. También se dijo que la tierra fue hecha a partir de la Meca''.
Además, Imam Ahmad registró que Abu Hurayrah,radia Allahu ànhu, narró sobre Umm Al-Qur'an que el Profeta,sala Allahu 'aleihi wa sallam, dijo:
هي أُمُّ القُرْآن و هي السَّبْعُ الْمَثاني و هي القُرْآنُ العظيم
هي أُمُّ القُرْآن و هي السَّبْعُ الْمَثاني و هي القُرْآنُ العظيم
Las siete aleyas de Umm al Quran, la Apertura del Libro, los siete versos más repetidos del Corán.

According to the majority of the reciters of Al-Kufah, a group of the Companions, the Tabi` in, and a number of scholars from the successive generations, the Bismillah is a separate Ayah in its beginning. The Number of Words and Letters in Al-Fatihah
The scholars say that Al-Fatihah consists of twenty-five words, and that it contains one hundred and thirteen letters
The Reason it is called Umm Al-Kitab
In the beginning of the Book of Tafsir, in his Sahih, Al-Bukhari said; "It is called Umm Al-Kitab, because the Qur'an starts with it and because the prayer is started by reciting it.'' It was also said that it is called Umm Al-Kitab, because it contains the meanings of the entire Qur'an. Ibn Jarir said, "The Arabs call every comprehensive matter that contains several specific areas an Umm. For instance, they call the skin that surrounds the brain, Umm Ar-Ra's. They also call the flag that gathers the ranks of the army an Umm.'' He also said, "Makkah was called Umm AlQura, (the Mother of the Villages) because it is the grandest and the leader of all villages. It was also said that the earth was made starting from Makkah.''
Further, Imam Ahmad recorded that Abu Hurayrah narrated about Umm Al-Qur'an that the Prophet said,
هي أُمُّ القُرْآن و هي السَّبْعُ الْمَثاني و هي القُرْآنُ العظيم
(It is Umm Al-Qur'an, the seven repeated (verses) and the Glorious Qur'an.)
Also, Abu Ja` far, Muhammad bin Jarir At-Tabari recorded Abu Hurayrah saying that the
Messenger of Allah said about Al-Fatihah,
لقُرْآن و هي فاتِحة الكتاب و هي السَّبع المثانيهي أُمُّ ا
(It is Umm Al-Qur'an, Al-Fatihah of the Book (the Opener of the Qur'an) and the seven repeated
(verses).)
